So, like me, she would have been in her early teens in the early 70s. At that time, people tend to fall into one of several camps, e.g. disco/motown, glam rock or the heavier or more progressive stuff. So, your choice of party songs should really be influenced by the kind of music she was listening to. Any idea what that was? You wouldn't want to be putting on Paranoid or Communication Breakdown if she was a Rollers fan!
