Outlook 2000 problem
Discussion
Do any of the Tech-wizards in here know whay my mail account (Outlook 2000 running on Windows 2000) should suddenly give me a send error, telling me that any message have has been rejected by the server because "Recipient not authorised: recipient rejected due to no authorised destination groups"?
It was working fine this morning and is still rceiving mail.
Anyone?

occasionally it gets the arse. just keep trying, it'll send eventually.
Not that this is in anyway helpfull but ive been getting the same error message for eight months now - and have tried everything i can in my admittedley limited expertise. I have now given up and have to send emails from work. A bit of a pain when I want to reply to someone.
yeah, like I said, not helpfull.

Your access to the out going mail server (SMTP) may have been canceled try using a different mail server.
your ISP will have one go to there help page and look up outlook setting, or setting up outlook as email client..
for example ntl smtp is smtp.ntlworld.com
freeserve is smtp.freeserve.co.uk
I get this occasionally but just change the server i use.
