Need to take the missus out in london, but as a treat (to me) i'm taking the gallardo. As its like my second son i'm scared of leaving on the street.
Can anyone recommend a good place to eat and some suitable parking. Mine does not have the lift pack so ground clearance is very bad!

You'll be fine in most places, many actually park there Gallardo's on the street overnight so don't worry. Many places around Knightsbridge, Kensington etc.... If you would like a recommendation for a particular cuisine let me know...

I can't help on the parking front but I took my Wife to Clos Maggiore in Covent Garden on Monday and it was fantastic (voted most romantic restaurant) - thoroughly recommend it, especially if you can get a table in the conservatory.

Ishbillia in Knightsbridge and Fakherdine Green Park are the nicest Lebanese and are in supercar friendly neighbourhoods, for Italian 'Made in Italy' on Kings Road or Rosso Pommodoro on Fulham Rd have nice fresh Italian food if you want somewhere more elegant try locanda locatelli. Yellow lines are fine to park on. Enjoy

anywhere in mayfair Lambos and ferraris etc are 10 a penny. I always park on/near Berkley Sq, no one looks twice...
Compare that to southall, went for a curry last nite and returned to find about 15 young men circling the car and taking photos - nothing bad though - all very friendly.

This restaurant was nice - http://www.thebombaybicycleclub.co.uk/restaurants-...

The area is not bad for leaving your car in too.

agree on Berkeley square, one of the few places i feel ok leaving my car. from there you have fakrehdine (as mentioned before, tho i havent been), cipriani (over rated), nobu, Benares (indian - guy whos on sat kitchen sometimes), gordon ramsey@ claridges all within a few mins. If you fancy locanda locatelli there is an ncp on portman square which has decent cars parked in it, or on portman square or nearby manchester square you will be fine (after 8 or whenever yellow lines are ok).

Sure but be careful if you park near a club or bar on Berkeley St as you get people leaning on your car.

For Lebanese i highly recommend Maroush in beauchamp place. If you are lucky you'll be able to park right outside.

Get a table by the front window and you can hear the lambo's/ferrari's sceaming past as well.

Ended up at Benares, good food, excellent customer service.

Didn't worry too much about parking, my gallardo was nothing special compared to the motors around the square!!!
