Well, I've just reinsured the Ro. 6.0 VXR model with Wortec performance pak, rippy, AP's and an lpg conversion.
I really had to work the phones hard to get what I regarded as anything like a reasonable price. Consider, I'm 45, have 9yrs NCB and car is garaged in a good area.
The most pathetic quote was from (Break the)Budget Insurance who wanted £3554.
Others, including likely suspects Admiral, Privilege and Elephant wanted between £800 and £1200.
Flux put in a good showing at £715.
My current Insurer Sky wanted £796 for renewal and after some arm twisting offered £630.
However, the clear winner for me was Classicline Insurance. I spoke to a nice lady called Cheryl and she quoted me £545 all mods declared and covered like for like. Needless to say they have my business. If yours is due it might be worth giving them a try.
