Hi All,

Sorry if this falls foul of PH rules...I looked in classifieds and couldn't see any for sale. Remove/delete as necessary of course.

Plenty on flea-bay for sale however thought I'd ask fellow PH'ers as a 1st point of call....keep it in the Family if you will!

I have a max budget of £60 for 2 general admission tickets on the 19th.

Anyone got spares?

Cheers,

Ali

The original cost of a General Admisson ticket was £48, so you may need to revise your budget a little.

Acknowledged and thanks for the advice. However not once have I been to a 'sold-out' event recently and not managed to obtain tickets for markedly less than the face value. Occasionally I have had to wait until the day in question (U2,AC/DC) and am prepared to do the same for Goodwood. Always people selling them in the surrounding area (as per last year...when I got two for......£60!).

just thought I'd give a PH a try 1st. smile

Thanks again.

So if you rock-up on the day will you & partner bother wearing period clothes just in case you get in... seems a lot of hassle to save £18 each ticket.

It's a good point Rich! Not dressing up though. There were plenty of people trying to move tickets on last year so I reckoned it wouldn't be much different in 2009 when there are still tickets for sale 1 week before the event and plenty on ebay.

anyhoo....2 tickets now procured for £30 each.

Enjoy the day all. smile

Ah well... I always think it's real shame when people go to the Revival and don't make the effort. It's worse for them as they are the odd ones out but by not joining in you miss out on half the fun. You must enjoy seeing all the costumes and "get-up" so why not contribute yourself?

I was just looking at these http://prazzi.com/revival/1/373.jpg and it really makes me look forward to being there again this year.

It doesn't take much to wear a chinos, brogues, tweed jacket and flat cap and it's so much better than a boring Ferrari branded anorak, mind you for real chav I even saw a father and son last year (with tattoos) in their Arsenal replica football shirts and that's replica Emirates advertising billboard shirst not replica Woolwich Arsenal 1950's shirts wink
