Hello all the experts out there. Its that time again morgage new deal and gonna take some cash to spend on the car, I will have about £1700- £2000 to spend i know not a lot but thats it. So what do you guys recomend? The car has a wortec exhaust with the original headers and thats about it. But must say the car has run the 1/4 mile in 14.4 seconds with 3/4 of a tank of fuel. So what do u guys think what should i look at and remember the money not just for parts fitting aswell.

Monaro CV8 54 plate

Look forward to all the arguments

suspension. You will notice the driving experiance improvement more than performance and TBH with these cars your not going to gain alot of power for that much. Mind you Im not sure what a CAM swap would be...? Richard.....

If suspension is what you are thinking, maybe look at the hsd's from driftworks. 007vxr is testing a set out only £760

Well was thinking about a full suspemnsion kit and doing some of the bushes on the car 2. Which is ideal for me as i work in the trade and deal with garages so getting fitted is easy enough. Was also thinking that i would loose the MAF sensor and getting a smooth intake pipe and have it remapped and for good luck chuck in a K&N filter to help her breath. But would be interested to know how much a cam and remap would be as the cam will change the car and its feel.

I've just had a set of bushes fitted to mine by Mark. He's also fitted something that lets you alter the standard spring rates, the name of which I forget. Give him a call as he's got a whole box full.

3.9 diff to replace the 3.46, or if you are very lucky and can find one cheap enough, replace your TUET2100 gearbox with a TUET2066.
