Drinking games
Discussion
Rabbits. Involves a circle of friends with a full pint each.
One person starts by making rabbit's ears with his hands: thumb against either temple, palms facing outwards. He wiggles fingers and then points with fingers of both hands (thumbs still resting on temples, index fingers together) at a fellow participant. The person he points at must IMMEDIATELY place his/her thumbs to temples to make rabbit's ears and start finger wiggling. The person to the new "rabbit"s left puts his right hand ONLY to his temple and finger wiggles, the person to the new "Rabbit"s right does the same with his LEFT hand. And so it continues.
Failure to react immediately (you need a ref!) results in a penalty of 1/4 of the drink in hand.
I used to get hammered playing this game. Great fun.

We used to appoint a "chief sneak" whose job would be to spot infractions. He would have to take a drink if he missed one that was pointed out by another player. One person starts by making rabbit's ears with his hands: thumb against either temple, palms facing outwards. I take it the Commander was a rugby player too?
I remember the Chief Sneak well.
Another good game is sevens, or the harder fives and sevens.
A circle of people counting from 1, going clockwise. At 7, any multiple of 7 or a number with 7 in it the direction reverses. Make it more difficult by adding 5, multiple of 5 or a number with 5 in it. So 35, for example, would NOT result in a change of direction.
Same penalties, this game used to get us REALLY hammered!

I lifted this from a website and it makes a simple game sound a lot more complicated than it is. Also consider adding a 'drink of death' to the middle of the table. But don't let the benders who are not playing have anything to do with it. When they add the vinegar from a jar of jalepenos and some coffee and probably some toilet duck, it really can only end one way.
Setting Up
•4 players sit round a table in a circle.
•Each player puts both hands out onto the table.
•Hands must interlock (i.e. [for 4 players] Player1Right,P4Left,P2Right,P1Left,P3Right,P2Left,P4Right,P3Left,P1Right and so on)
•3 shots must be placed at each hand of every player.
How to Play
The game is a sequence of taps on the table. Each hand must tap in the order it is on the table when it is that hands turn. 1 tap = continue the sequence 2 taps = reverse sequence and continue 3 taps = miss next hand and continue sequence 4 taps = reverse, miss next hand, then continue sequence.
The Drinking
Every time a player misses a tap when it is there turn they must drain the glass. Every time a player taps when it is not there turn to tap they must drain the glass.
Crowning a Winner
Once all three shots have been drunk on the offending hand - the hand is withdrawn from the game. Once a player has both hands withdrawn from the game they are out. The game continues until there is only 2 hands left on the table. These two hands can belong to the same person or be one hand each from 2 people. Winner = Person with a hand on the table when the game ends. Loser = Person whose hand was last to be eliminated before the game ends. The consequence for the loser is he or she must drain every shot left on the table (a maximim of 7 - 2 hands with 3 and one from there own, a minimum of 3 - 2 hands with 1 and there own).
Crowning a Champion
Play again - this time replacing 3 shots for 2 on each hand. Play again - this time replacing 2 shots for 1 on each hand. Champion is crowned as the person who wins the 1 shot per hand game.
Crowning a Deity
Play again to crown a new champion. And again and again if need be. Deity is crowned as the person who puts there hands in at every round played through every championship until all players drop out or pass out

Game I sometimes play with mates is called 'Drink Whilst You Think'
The game basically has a group of people (ideally at least 4) and can be on any topic, i.e. celebrities, cars etc ... but celebrities is normally easiest.
So anyway, the first person says a celebrities name. E.G. James May, and then the next person in line has to say a celebrities name whose firstname starts with the first letter of the last person's surname so that could be... Morgan Freeman. Then the next person would say Frank Sinatra and so on...
Then if someone says a name where the first and last letters are the same e.g. Chris Cornell then the order switches direction and goes back the other way.
The idea is that you are constantly drinking until you can think of a name - it gets hard quickly and guarantee you'll have a laugh playing it

Or there is the impromptu drinking game we made up at a recent music festival. It involved our trusty 'Sally Gunnell', a funnel with a length of hosepipe attached that will help you drink a can of your choosing in about half a second, or cover you in said drink. I think there was also a bottle of G-bomb (rum, Jagermeister and Red Bull) and a bottle of Baileys, and possibly a bottle of brandy. It was brutally simple; we had to call each other by our proper names rather than our nicknames. For one hour. It is an odd feeling when you realise that you do not know the real names of people you have known since you were six.
Two recent favourites:
'Jake the peg' take a clothes peg and then you must clip it to another players clothing without them knowing. Then, in your own time, call 'Who's got Jake?'. Everyone has 5 or 10 seconds (depending how generous you feel) to frish themselves to see if they've got Jake. They then drink/forfeit.
As a twist, it's prudent to take a spare Jake, just in case somebody gets stroppy and throws Jake away. Maybe even have two Jakes in circulation, if you have two Jakes on you, there is a drink AND a forfeit.
Buy a revolver cap gun with plenty of rounds (the rings of caps are best). Cut the individual caps off the ring so you have singles and then play 'Russian Roulette with the singles. Drink if the cap gun goes off. You soon get used to ringing in your ears btw ;-)

How about 21's, it's not big, it's not clever, but it's certainly effective.
You go round the people counting to 21. The person who says 21 has to drink 2 fingers.
Form a circle, drinks at the ready.
1st player always starts with 1 (funnily enough) once said, move left round the circle to the next player. They then continue.
If they were to:
Say 1 number, the round continues to the left
say 2 numbers, the round reverses direction
Say 3 numbers and the round skips a player.
The player to end up saying '21' drinks.
Anyone to say a number out of turn, hesitate to long, or generally f
k up drinks 1 finger.
Once a round is over the loser on 21 selects a number and has to replace it with an action of their choice for the next rounds.
If you want to play old school rules, you're not allowed to say drink or point throughout the game. SUrprisingly difficult.
Best to appoint a ref as it gets messy after 3-4 rounds...
Enjoy
