Thames Valley Fiat Advice

So,

My little sis is getting a new fiat 500, (boggo 1.2 pop model). Knowing of my car obsession, she's come to me for advice!

Now i know nothing about local fiat dealers so can i ask the following:

1. Does anyone know any local ones that are good, or indeed need avoiding?
2. Has anyone seen any online deals that were interesting? Or know anyone who's got a good deal recently? I've currently managed to get £500 off, but would like to do better for her...
3. Are any of the online brokers any good? any to avoid?

Fiat dealers on the whole have been pretty poor in my experience - the one in Reading is spectacularly bad
Hopefully someone will pop up with a good one.
Have you tried all the various car supermarket sites? Motorpoint, SMC, etc?

A friend of mine has got got his 500 from the Fiat/abarth dealership on Bath road Slough. he has nothing but good things about the dealership so far. He is in the office today, I could get some more info if you like ?

Not local but might be worth contacting him if only to see what sort of deals can be done. Might even be worth a bit of a trip if he can do you something stellar himself.

There is Bishops Fiat in Guildford - on the Slyfield Industrial Estate. I haven't ever bought a car from them (or any Fiat) but I once went in there and the sales people were very helpful.

OTR price seems to be 8K, Fiat are renound for ludicrously big discounts, but not so sure on the 500 as there is 'less to play with' than on the pricer models

Broadspeed, drive the deal, UK car discount all list the 500 pop as not discounted so you cant use that method as a haggling tool either unfortunately. Best bet would probably be to walk in and say you'll buy one right here right now cash for £7k and see what happens

I have a good friend who works at this dealership (you may remember him - he came to the Ace in an Abarth a couple of months back). Although he works particularly in van sales, I am sure I could ask him for advice/help/a deal.

I bought my Panda 100HP from Thames Fiat in Slough. I have had no problems with sales or service departments.
