i.e. short smile

Trying to find a new car with SWMBO who's a tad over 5ft.
So far excluded golf polo mazda 2&3 due to:-
a) the seat wont go far enough forward
b) when forward the seat adjuster hits left foot
c) if the seat's high enough and forward enough, the cowl under the steering wheel clashes with knees

Other requirements largely due to gradual need for reading glasses
(does anyone own up to this wink

1) speedo with all the speed limits (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70) dial rather than display
2) clock with hands - those tiny LCD things are impossible

Even the reviews on womens cars seem to be written by tall well sighted women.
Where are the reviews by real people?
How tall is the hamster?

I have the same problem but for the opposite reason - I'm 6'4" and struggle to get into lots of cars because they're not big enough!! My missus is a foot shorter which compounds the problem!!

Metro and MGF

I knew a 4'10" girl who reckoned that these were the best (read only) choices for her stature in her price range.

Perhaps this is the best way to find a car for a short person: ask a short friend!

The mother is 5"1, she drives a yaris (not the newer shape) and says its very comfortable (you sit more upright and seats are quite high too). It has a digital speedo though, although its digital its very very clear..... and the clock, well honestly... its digital but i'm sure a wrist watch could sort that smile
