In Bruges?!?!?!
Discussion
There are some strange mute type performer people. Avoid.
Horse and cart round the city is nice (if it doesn't go against your PH genes too much!)
Other than that it's all just fancy cafes and chocolate shops.
It's nice for the day but any longer and it would wear thin I would have thought...

It'll definetly be your f

king swans, how the f
k can that not f
king be somebody's f
king thing?
Oh, watch the film if you haven't already.
Go to see the belfry by the market square there's a Salvador Dali thing there too if you're into that. Stand in the square then as you're looking towards the belfry tower there's a street off to the right. There's a beer gift shop there and 5 doors further there's a great pub.
There's a brewery tour that's worth going on too. The tourist information has leaflets and stuff.
Definitely go on a boat tour. There's 4-5 companies that do them (the only boats allowed on the canals you know!) There's one that looks very professional with it's own red shop front/entrance thing. Don't go on that one, it's just a pre recorded tape. There's one right next to a bridge, just a little booth on the corner and you walk down to the platform. That one was good if you see it. They're about 6-7€.

I was there with Mrs Digitise a couple of weeks ago.
My highlights included:
Climbing to the top of the belfry
Having a very nice steak in the argentinian steak house
Going for a boat tour
eating lots of ice cream
an irish bar called the Druid's Cellar
seeing Michelangelo's Madonna & Child
and visiting the world's only Museum Of Chips.

You must spend an evening in this place: http://www.cambrinus.eu/default.htm
Phone book sized beer menu with 400+ beers and they do cracking food. Seconded the Kwak recommendation but there's so many you'll be spoilt for choice. Don't drink it like beer though, you'll be on your arse in 2 hours. Sip it like wine!
That is all.
Edit to add: Oh, and if you want to buy any beers/glasses from the associated shop (Bier Temple) then don't, it's very expensive. There is an equivalent shop about 60% of the price on the road down towards the swans/horse and cart "terminus" (you'll find it).

Went about 3 weeks ago, get chicken from the saturday morning market, fantastic. Food is good from near the brewery. Also, go for a drink here: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&a...
It's a fantastic place, loved every minute.

Correct, except the pub directions are right but with your back to the Belfry, not facing it. It is the Bar Cambrinus, as mentioned elsewhere on the post, I'm glad so many of you have found it from my posts of earlier this year and before.
