Where should I buy?

Hi all,

Fairly new to the TVR scene, i've been driving a Toyota Supra 6speed TT for the past few years and really want to move onto a Sagaris eary next year. I've taken a couple of days off to visit some dealships but I can't really decide on the best ones... anyone advice? I was looking at TVR Centre in Barnet and Racing Green TVR, the rest seemed to have closed altogther! Or am I better of going Private?

There are so few Sagaris around you will need to go where the cars are, the dealers you like may not have the car you want. There are plenty of good dealers around - from the North East to the South West of the country.

Buying privately is OK if you know what you are looking at. If not get someone along who does (or an inspection).

tomssupra, the best thing you can do is search these forums and try and find as much information as you can to give you an idea on what problems they can encounter and what to look out for.

Like the previous poster says, there are so few Sagaris (Sagari?) around so you will just have to go where the car is.

You are more than welcome to take a look at mine, it will be at the Plough (nr Potters Bar) on Sunday at the North London PH meet.

Been up for sale for a week or so.

Castle sportscars in Stansted are very good and were great when I purchased my T350 from them last year - speak with Ben.

There are also many good private cars for sale and with the Sagaris market being so small most of them are known by people on here so you can at least get a little background on the car before viewing (saved me looking a a lot of duff 350s last year)!

I bought private & my brother did also no way would I pay the over priced steelers there ridiculous mark up.

Plus this is only my opinion but you mentioned the dearest dealers in the country.

i bought my t350c off JAMES AGGER.
he can source a car for you and has a very good reputation for tvr.
im sure he would have no problems finding you what you want.
IMO,that black sagaris is awesome,moonraker black,i think its in moonraker,is stunning.

I bought mine from Racing Green. No complaints here at all!

There's a list of TVR dealers here.

Some of them are service centres & don't sell cars but most, if not all, of the garages that do sell cars are listed.
