Where to buy an Egyptian gift?

I could simply get a book, but it would be nice to get something a little different, but I don't know enough about the subject to really know what is/isn't authentic vs. plain tacky not to mention where to go online given that fact.

May or may not be true but a Radio 4 program the other day, dealing with the flood of artifacts after the Iraq invasion, bloke on the show reckoned there were many shops that legally deal in old stuff around the museums in London? Might have heard that incorrectly though.

Finding things isn't really the problem, it's knowing what and who is actually half-decent vs. tacky ste, "Egyptian" Scarabs with "Made in China" stickers on them etc.
