I was getting slightly concerned with the effect on my bank balance of only buying Peroni.

Tonight I have bought some slightly cheaper premium piss water in a can.

Never again

Just buy, Kestrel Super. or Special brew.. 8 or 9%

More head f%?$K per can, but get's you there faster.

You never see a drunky in the shopping precinct guzzling cheap crap.

As above Grolsch always seems to be on offer somewhere, which is good because as a lager I find not much else touches it for full flavour and enjoyment.

I always stick with German beer. It never contains any preservatives/additives (by law) so is much better for your head (and body) in the morning.

Peroni 6 pack is £5 at the moment on special. Although it does mean you will have go into Asda.

Lidl do decent bottles of Pilsner (from Germany too I think) for about £5 for 6 500ml bottles.

I normally go for the box of 12 which comes in at 12.75, which gets you fairly warm if consumed in one sitting, it does give you a proper hangover though.

Where as today I felt fine after a 8 pack of other premium lager.

Cheap beer = false economy. Not only is it often weak, but it is often awful too.

I managed to get 10 cans of Becks Vier in Tescos yesterday for £6. I haven't even touched it yet as Rioja was also on offer in there.

I once bought these

80p for 4. But at 2.1% would need to drink a fair few to even get remotely warm.

I think pissing in my own mouth would have provided more enjoyment.

It's Stella Artois - because after 5 pints you want to fight anyone - usually the wife when you get home. Not sure where it originated.
