If you see a blue Cerb its us yeah. thumbup There are a couple of chims nearby, but they're either dark blue or dark green... ours is BMW Estoril blue (E36 M3 Blue) - usually with side number stickers for dads sprints/hillclimbs. smile

Was certainly not me in the Esprit... It sounds like a tin opener in a washing machine... You do get some loud bikes bommin through or just fools in Supra's MR2's etc

Aside from the Cerb, I am a fool in an Mx5. hehe Its a pleasant sound, not too loud (you cant hear it at all with the Cerb at idle!) Tend not to razz about, but have been known to leave it in first until 6krpm from the lights in Moseley Village just to stop dawdlers from crossing infront of me if I head right into town. paperbag

BCA ´what do you think of the Councils idea to make the Moseley Village junction with no traffic lights or signals, you think it will work? its already pretty hectic even with traffic lights etc

I've heard those noises from across the other side of b'ham, it definitely sounded like some kind of circuit racing, and today there was an article on the local news.

Speedway bikes have been getting a lot of complaints recently over the noise, as they are mostly unsilenced.
Add the right weather conditions, and you'll get the sound bouncing along in corridors of different temperatures

I deal with them atleast twice a day (those lights) - and if that were to happen, it'd fail and fail hard.

They've been broken before, twice that I can think of in the past five years... both times led to two accidents atleast.

Its a really dumb idea basically. If they want to sort traffic out, they need to police the taxi drivers parking more carefully and enforce the no-right for normal traffic just after the lights a little better/ move the bus stops further from the junction.

But that'd be sensible. So they wont.

The End´yeah that could of been it- it could have been Speedway Biking, sometimes i hear it faintly on Saturday nights, but last weekend it was really loud, reverberating round my house- just short bursts of noise, then nothing, like going round a circuit- the thing is, i live nowhere near perrybarr!

BCA- i do those lights twice too daily, though there is a useful shortcut nr there, which saves a few seconds, it is a dumb idea thinking of taking the signals down, esp with some of the driving skills people have in the area

Heading right towards ladypool road and then left next to the police station or going down the speed bumps of Park lane??

I do that alot too, I'll keep my eyes peeled for your cars, though you'll probably spot the noisy little mx5 first. wavey
