fuel pump ?

my wedge broke down yesterday after pulling upto a roundabout the engine cut-out, on restarting it would fire occasionally but not enough to move it, sprayed in some cold start(not sure exactly what it was the RAC guy had it) it would run briefly, i had already checked fuses and re-seated relays.

so.. I’m assuming either broken wire or fuel pump. Does anyone know what fuel pump to use and what the likely cost should be for one?

The car is a 91 450se.

If you swap out the old one, make sure to add a filter before the pump. In my car it was after the pump.
