Put article pics in a gallery/allow to click to next pic etc

Sorry, dont know how to describe in the subject box exactly the suggestion - and I apologise if this has been mentioned before..

The pictures that are in the articles/features; why cant they be 'numbered' or whatever, so that instead of having to click on each individual thumbnail we can click on the first pic to enlarge and then go to a picture viewing window/tab which either allows us to view the other pics in said article. So you click the first thumbnail, and then you can choose 'next' or image '2','3','6' etc?

..It's been like that in adverts for as long as I can remember for example

As for the second thread, you may see that I was with original poster.. I just dont think the answers given were valid enough.

The key issue is that adding a forum does not create a demand for it. If there is not a sufficient level of discussion already then it can just kill the number of replies stone dead, stifling debate rather than encouraging it.

A perfect example of this is the honda forum, which has been gradually slowing down ever since it was spun off from "jap chat".

I dont know if you mentioned the Honda forum inparticular because of my car or indeed why initially came across my problem, but it's a fair call and understand why you wouldnt want a forum that's unused. However, there isnt a section that seems to be an obvious place for tyre discussion to take place. Yes manufacturer sub-forums can work, but you are limiting yourself to something that is universally used and not make/model specific.

As mentioned in the other thread I dont see the problem of just adding ', and Tyres' to a pre-existing (sub)forum such as the Suspension and Brakes one.

..I'm not trying to be a pain in the arse, it's just that PH is the forum I go to most and really enjoy the fact you can find information on anything/everything - which is why the tyre issue is getting to me.

I dont want to argue so if it's not going to change anytime soon then fair enough.

I hadn't even looked at your profile, the Honda forum was just the best example I could think of!

I can add it on to the end of "Suspension and Brakes", that is a good suggestion, but it still won't get many responses. Certain tyres suit certain cars and not others so the best advice is probably still going to come from the corresponding marque specific forum.
