I believe you are referring to Ian Harwood who is a supplier of most stuff Mk1 and Mk2 Escort.

He is usually very good and as he test drives all the vehicles prior to buying them to strip down he can be pretty sure what he is selling on is of a reasonable quality (remember that even the newest second hand parts will be around 22 years old so will show some signs of wear.

We have had quite a few items from him over the years and have no complaints about the stuff supplied.

The one we built 9 years ago (Green Dragon) has got Cortina Ghia seats in.
T4 before I took it off the road to refurb had got MG Metro seats in .
The Sammie (of Samuri Project fame) will be having the MG Metro seats from T4 in the front and Cobra seats in the back.

The black Geep which I am running whilst T4 is off the road has got MK3 Escort seats in.

Not sure yet what seats will be put in T4 when it is completed (as this will not be done until the Samuri is finished).

I've metro GTA seats in the front and renault 5 GTS or turbo in the back (all have the same seat cover on ), all seats with race harnesses throughout
STICK to seats with FLAT bottoms so they sit well on "that" wooden floor also consider the height of the front seats and therefore consider extending the height of the front seats I used steel square profile tubing galvanised to provide the extra height

Yes leather seats are OK there are several Geeps out there with them.
I know one has got ones out of a Volvo.

for fiesta recaro in leather you will pay about £150 each in not bad condition

recaro from sierra in leather you will pay £250 each in the same condition

The best bet is get hold of some nice recaro's from a capri form only about £50 a pair.

Ive just got a nice set of colour coded yellow ones in black and yellow to match my geep. i got them of a man at the last show for only £75 and a mountey steering wheel. COOL
