Best place to wash the car

Im living in a terraced house now, and the car is parked on the street with no real access for a hose pipe.

Im used to hand washing the car on a drive etc but obviously can't do this now.

Whats my best option? Supermarket jet wash?

Its getting a little dirty but I dont want to put her though a car wash!

Are there no hand washes around your area? I tend to use these due to lack of drive space or I take it to my Grandparents house as they have a wider driveway if I feel like doing it myself.

Why can't you just connect the hose to a tap or the power shower? Thas what we used to do at Uni' to wash the car on the street.

The shower works really well becasue you get hot water!

Jetwash. And take your own wash mitt.
I'd also recommend avoiding busy periods unless you want a queue of upset people watching you while you do it your way!

I have a similar - ish conundrum - communal car park and no outside tap. I either wash the car when it chucks it down (surprisingly effective), or use 3 buckets in rotation and walk back and fourth filling them in the kitchen sink. It's like a car wash and a work out all in 1, but also a pain in the erse...

If the vehicle is particularly dirty before hand you could either jet wash the dirt off at your local place as you suggested or use a 2-bucket wash method (1 bucket clean water the other shampoo) followed by a few buckets of water then ONR or use a quick detailer to dry and stop water marks.

I used to use a big watering can when i had no hose. Filled it from a couple of buckets.
