West end as well - It sounded like thunder at first, but then got a bit weird and sounded more like big fireworks going off. There was no rain and it stopped after a few minutes

Was it really that festival of colour and light?

We had a stabbing at CC on saturday just across from the railway pub, I walked past about 10mins after it happened and the paramedics were just turning up
