Hi folks, I'm off to Knockhill on Wednesday for a go at the Ferrari driving experience.
Can anyone tell me what the catering is like there (if any midweek?) My track time is 1pm so plan to go early and have some lunch.

Alternately can anyone recommend somewhere decent nearby?

Thanks, Davy.

they have a restaurant/canteen type thing on-site called Kinnairds - decent enough for a bite of lunch

Didnt think Kinnairds was open on experience days since theres a very small crowd usually attending?

Certainly when I was there the clubhouse was used for the breifing and food/drink requirements.

there is a very good chippy in dunfermline, head into dunfermline on the wee narrow road towards the cross, it is the road that you follow straight from the track, chippy on left opposite a factory shop place before the cross. as reccomended by the knockie marshals :-)

there is also a nice eatery on the road towards the kincardine bridge, think it is near the dollar turnoff, on main road on the left. few good eateries in dollar itself, italian pizza place to die for

I was up at knockhill two weeks ago for a Thursday lesson, Kinnairds was open for business. These days the sign in is in there as well.

I guess all the staff need somewhere to eat as well

the grub onsite is alright I feel it is a bit expensive, if we are on a weekend meeting we usually go to the clubhouse for brekkie. they do do stuff like chips and stuff in there too

there must be loads of places in dunfermline to eat but havent had the inclination to look for them, as we have found a good chippy we stick to it, bloke actually gave us a discount last time as we came in with the orange ovies on

Seems a shame not to support the on-site facilities.
