Hi,

Can anyone recommend a tool type watch with a wide band, i.e.: one that is the same thickness for the whole length of the strap, perhaps 24mm?

Thanks,
H

Any number of Panerais or similar with carre cases eg Enzo Mechana, Benarus? You do know you can change the strap later if it tapers down to 22mm?

You might be able to find a Kronos Rhula diver (based on the old East German military divers) as they have 24mm lug widths. Should be able to pick one up for around the £100 mark.

Thanks SN.

Probably should have phrased that better. Can anyone recommend a really nice bracelet with no taper?

Just a 24mm bracelet? Definitely go for a lumpy. A watch requiring a 24mm bracelet I would imagine to be quite chunky. A thin bracelet just will not work. (Unless you have a square/tank-style dress watch.)

well worth the money. nice chunky and look great IMO

here is one in 24mm and I am pretty sure they don't taper i.e they are the same thickness and width all the way around

and one on one of my watches

That wasn't a watch I'd expect to see it on! Pics, please?

Bizarre. It does work. Divers with lumpies work well but didn't think a dress watch would!
