My 156 sportwagon 2.4JTD needs a new o/s cv joint. Local supplier quoting almost £200 for the part (says i have to buy the complete drive shaft unit). Is this typical or is there a cheaper alternative elsewhere, or is it possible to just buy the joint itself?
Just for the record....I bought this CV joint from ebay. Didin't fit my 2000 2.4JTD as the CV joint they sent was for 25 spline driveshaft and my car has a 36 spline driveshaft. Don't know if my car is an oddball or they c#cked up. I reckon they c#cked up
