as this relates purely to kit cars thought to just mention in this section....
following the recent Southern Run to Bentley arranging a similar run.
Various start points running to the Chalet Cafe nr Cowfold off the A272. date is the 11th Oct.
confirmed start points: newlands corner Nr Shere/Guildford. Wrotham nr 7oaks.
Other start points will be reviewed when we have an idea of interested parties, hopefully additional runs from Lewes/Brighton area and possibly Oxted Surrey.
Runs will start at different times to get the runners to the Cafe for 10.00.
Happy to answer any questions, pls feel free to email markgreen450@googlemail.com
obviously weather dependant.

We are in, starting from the BIG (not the little one on the green) Grasshopper Pub on the A25 near Westerham, Kent leaving at 7am sharp. Do you know the postcode of the Cafe at the finish???

Aplogies for not making the Cafe...... We were en route to arrive at 10.15 but the MX5 with us split a hose ( a real b'stard one you could not get to without a full toolkit) near Hastings. We had been via Edenbridge, Croborough, Frant, Cripps Corner, Rye, Lydd, Camber, Winchelsea Beach and Fairlight. Top Hoon until then, and we were gagging for a nice Breakfast!! Waited with him until the Recovery truck arrived. Next time, hope everybody had a good day.

Well done for organising this Mark. A very good turnout considering the threatening weather. Nice to meet owners of a wide cross-section of cars. I think we out-numbered the bikers!

Cheers Alan.....it was a great turnout, frankly more than i expected, and the weather was fine really - just a pity that the roads were a bit greasy. hopefully word will spread and we'll get a few more folks coming out of the woodwork......anyone wanting to be kept updated on runs/events is welcome to email me thru here - trying to post across many forums and track response is quite time consuming and ideally would like to be able to make direct contact via email to save time......

It's a shame I didn't see this thread sooner. Even though I don't have a kit car I would of loved to of gone to take some more photos for my Kit Car collection.
Can you send me an email next time you organise another run. smile

the MOMENT we get daylight at 6am again then I will be doing a similar one again out of Westerham. You may as well give up after 08.30 as all the wingnuts with cars full of junk heading for the Bootfairs come out and do 25mph, so kind of stops the pleasurable driving for you. I will post up when I do.
