As per title, my Mondeo is getting old, just got it MOT'd and I'm thinking of getting rid.

I like the Focus, especially the ST, I will be looking at nearly new, definatly no more than 2 years old.

In a perfect world I'd be able to pick one up from a Ford dealer at the right price, as we all know the world isn't perfect and I might have to search the small ad's.

Buying from a dealer I'd have the protection of a warranty, from the small ad's I'm not so sure.

Is there anything I should be keeping my eye out for?

I know this thread is nearly a month old, but if you haven't done so already, get on the focusstoc website. Loads of useful info.

Focus st is a great car, I have the st-3.

Yep, me too. Looked into chopping it in a while back but then when she's all polished up with a full stainless turbo back Mongoose exhaust that growls like something out of The Lion Man, I just couldn't part with her. The most reliable fun bit of kit I've ever head. And seriously quick.
