Bumper rubber bands...

Hi everyone,
I need to repaint my TVR V8S 2 litres due to a little accident against a wall...
I remember someone in this forum that removed those orrible (for me, obviously...) bumper rubber bands, but I cant find the pics anymore...
Does anyone remember the link ?
Do you think this is an orrible mod ?

The car I have seen the mod on is a red S2 (I think) owned by a chap from my region. I can't remember his name though!

Herts and Beds RO, Mal (Grumpybear on here) might be able to help. If not, I have the name and number of the bodyshop that did the filling and re-spray. Its in the UK of course but he might be able to put you in touch with the right person.

there was a dark blue (IIRC) car for sale pictured on here recently that had had the bumper strips removed and looked very nice. I've had a quick search but cant find it, perhaps someone else will...

I've got the pics of this one below, there's also a V8S in dark blue with speckle effect paint that was for sale a while back - but I can't remember the owners name, I know he had a photo album online with pics of it.

Think it looks really good, especially the back end. but not keen on black headlamp rings ?

And, not ctiticising, but having gone that far, like Norman says, some different indicators maybe further out towards the cornes (where indicators should be) would really set it off
