Yeah, they should give you the option of having it badged as a HSV or Vauxhall, think you would find most people would go the initial badging of it as a HSV, I know I would.

Dental floss to remove all old badges, pretty easy, the sticky residue for the most part just rolls off with your finger smile

I did not get the 317 badge deliberately, also you will notice I mounted my R8 badge slightly lower down, deliberately.

I am not sure I like the side "Clubsport" logo's either, but im planning some custom "Bathurst" type stripes in any case (not bathurst tho)

I just thought the R8 and 317 looked a little funky sat up so high to be honest, over a period of time my car will no doubt change so much than the 317 badge whilst being "original" will become meaningless in the long run anyways, not to mention we do not use KW in this country anyways.

Actually seeing the Clubsport mounted on the side skirt instead of the rear door does not look so bad, only pic I saw before was on a VY and it looked horrible IMHO which is what stopped me from getting them.

May reconsider those then......but paint them in satin black or something.

you could always put gts 40th anniversary stripes on it.;)

Go to www.carsales.com.au and look up the cars on there. They are new and used cars for sale and will have all the badges on them.

I purchased mine debadged from Picador. So far i have put the R8 on the rear with the round HSV in the middle but am undecided about the left hand side as I did not want the 317. I have put the HSV round badge on the front and the HSVs on each side but do not like the clubsport. I am tempted to put two more R8s below the rear doors as I had the GTO badge there on the Monaro but it may be too much. Any thoughts please let me know.

Well im starting to wonder if I can make the Clubsport badges work by spraying them in Satin or Matt black......they look too tacky in Silver for my personal taste tho, no offence to anyone who has those please.

You need to understand the meaning of "Clubsport" here too... nothing to do with Club level motorsport as you might think, no it's "the car I drive to the footy club mate" rolleyes
That's why nearly all of them here are auto's...

I guess thats because in Oz the car is a typical "sporty" version of the regular machines, where in this country it's a little more special to its owners because of its exclusivity etc ?

i just thought it was a funky name they chucked on it so it doesnt look like a gts from the side.
