Next time you see the people in white coats, could you please ask them to "increase your medicine".

They'll know what it means.

Humans taste of pork even if they haven't eaten pork.
But flamingos are pink because they eat pink shrimps.

I think I'm having a Cantona moment.

Right.

Wrong.

It's actually the blue-green algae they eat - which also has some red content which gets absorbed by their feathers.

Bananas do not form a significant part of a wild monkey's diet.

This is because banana plants do not grow in the wild - they are a domesticated crop.

HTH.

You're right! Internet said: 'A flamingo's pink or reddish feather color comes from its diet, which is high in alpha and beta-carotene. People eat beta-carotene when they eat carrots. The typical flamingo diet consists of diatoms, seeds, blue-green alage, crustaceans, and mollusks they filter out of the water.'

One might presume that if a human ate lots of carrots they would turn orange, yet still taste of pork. Weird.

It's dead right. It helps you see pigs in the dark, too.

Salmon flesh is pink because of the shrimp diet.

I think the major one to worry about with humans is Asparagus. Blurgh!

For those people on here who have had the unfortunate experience of smelling burnt human flesh, they will be aware of the similarity in the smell to burnt pork.

For further proof ask a female to smell the meat nappy (the bit in the bottom of the plastic tray that absorbs the blood) and ask them what it smells like hurl
