Good places to have work carried out in Essex

Im sorry i keep posting up Questions and I dont even own a Cerb "yet" but id like to know my market.

Anyway. i live in chelmsford (cm2 post code) and would like to know where in this wet park of the UK i can take a TVR for all its needs? i know Castle Sports Cars Ltd (Stansted) do work on TVRs as iv seen a naked on in there when i was last car shopping but i have no idear what their work is like.

P.S. are then any good cerb owner site out there where i can do some reading?

I'd recommend Castle. Bought my 350 from them and the quality of their work for some bits that were required was very good.
Or a little further afield is Sebring International near Wisbech - a long way to travel but the only guys I actually use on a regular basis.
Alternatively Leven technology in Basildon have a very good reputation but I've no experience of them myself.

Leven Tech have my vote. Very trustworthy and always offer that extra help if needed.

Personal experience of Leven is top notch...

Went and met the guy from P R Woods this weekend. He does body work along with the usual which is a bonus. Seems like a very genuine guy, will most probably have some bits tidyed up there...

I have also spoken to Phil @ PR Woods and he seems a really helpful guy. I am due to take the car in on Saturday and so I will let you know how it goes.

castle - bought the Tam from there, and been serviced there since, all good.

Leven - only used them once for a small job, but it was all good, good rep too.

PR Wood - had both bodywork and servicing done there on my Chim (pre Tam) and also very good. Genuine guy, who loves the 'brand', bodywork is the speciality though.

Agree on the first 2 points, but beg to differ on the third, based on personal experience.
