My uncle has a fully restored 1981 2.8 tasmin that he has had for a few years but needs to sell as he has sold his house. Would anyone know a rough price guide? and where to sell? it is metallic blue with 65k miles, 2.8 litre ford engine. Thanks in advance!

You can have a look on the pistonheads classifieds for an indication. And a search on the forum could bring up some information as well.
If well stored it should not be an issue to convince a potential buyer. Just left many (that don't do the thinkering themselves) will walk away and as you will understand the price will be lower. Good luck with the sale.
By the way: is it nothing for yourself? As in the song: talk a walk on the dark (wilde) side?

the problem with selling these cars is:

there isnt really a "big" market..and if its a convertible, spring-time is the season for sale..not now.

next thing is: there are always some wedges for sale and people rather go for a rover-powered one than a 280, even when the 280 is in much better nick.

so even a restored 280 might struggle against a "poor" 350 with a fresh mot.

these are the facts, thats the market.

finally, what means "restored"? restored could mean a body-off job with every bolt being replaced and finally followed by a high qualtiy respray. other sellers already consider a quick overspray, a good clean and some new chassis bushes as restored.

so maybe you can give us some more details. main thing, like always: what has been done to the chassis?
