Does anyone know of any super/turbocharger kits for the E46 330i?

I quite fancy a small, fast, estate and I think i will prefer the handling of the 330i to an S4 biturbo....but is this a daft idea?

I know there are supercharger kits available, think Vortech make them.

Try checking these guys out - never used them but good reputation:

I would say its probably a bit daft, but as long as you understand that you probably won't get any of the money spent back then at least you have a realistic outlook!

Kits are available through a few sources but the outlay is thousands and the increase in power/torques doesn't really prove worthwhile IMO given the cost. Anyone who claims you will get M3 performance is lying.

I had my Z4 supercharged with the ESS Twin Screw stage 2 kit, it's the same engine. Power was up to 360+ BHP and a massive amount of torque from just 1800rpm, unlike the M3, I should know I have one now. Take a look on their website www.esstuning.com Mine was noticeably quicker than my friends Z4M. It was very reliable for the 12k I clocked up in it, just make sure you change the engine oil every 6 months etc.

There is a guy selling the stage 3 kit including the engine with uprated pistons etc. Produces 450bhp, see the classifieds section.

Any quesitons let me know.
