And there's a massive 55% off............errr, off what?



Sale at FDS furniture.....Sofa was £2500, then £1000....now only £599 This bank holiday only......


So:-

Instead of thinking "Is this sofa really worth £599 that they are asking for, sale numpties think "What a bargain, I'm saving nearly £2000!!"

I don't think people do fall for it.

I bought my furniture from DFS.... in a sale... but I was under no illusions that I wasn't really getting it any cheaper than DFS intended it to be sold for.

When I worked at a well known electrical store over Christmas I noticed that the prices slowly went up on the goods till Christmas, then the sale price after New Yearn was back to what it was originally.

If it's cheaper than I can get it elsewhere, then it's a bargain, regardless of whether it's in a Sale or otherwise.....
