Would recommend the Caterham 7 factory tour and the Lotus factory tour ( mainly Elise, Evora and Tesla. Both really cheap although midweek only. In my mind the Caterham tour was exactly how pictured (Fred in Shed 
), but was impressed with Lotus and all production processes, also took in Lotus Historic Racing tour - bit off topic but Phil started it
