Call him lucky... I'm the reverse... spent a ridiculous amount of coin on a absolute PoS!

I wish the new owner a lot of good fortune and luck.

Wow! Wish I'd kept the money from mine to buy that one. The hazards of having other cars that need funds spending on them!

I fancy buying a trailer and putting something competitive on it...now that driving on the roads has become such a pain.

Sounds like you need me and Simon B@tman to come round and remind you what you are missing Graham
Once you hear the sweet notes of the RV8 and the Wedge exhaust you will be straight back to the Darkside!!!!

Hahaha!

Cheeky buggers biggrin

It's my birthday today (but don't tell anyone)....now even more decrepit than last year. cry

The engine looks luvverly, but a bit on the high side for my wallet....perhaps if it came with a car attached. hehe

Bunging a yank motor or mega-tuned RV8 into a cosmetically challenged Wedge might be fun at the drag strip or hillclimb, both of which I have close to me, and no points to worry about. smile

Oy Richard, I thought you were a trained hillclimber now.
Lets be seeing you go up Harewood one of these weekends. driving

Bugger me, Dronfield's just up the road from me!

Never seen that car on the roads, or at any SYTVRCC meets (Mind you haven't been to a meet myself for ages).

PS Graham, Happy Birthday for yesterday, same day as my Dad's birthday.

Happy Birthday to You
Happy Birthday to You
Happy Birthday Dear Graham
Happy Birthday to You!!!!!! beer

I did really enjoy doing the hillclimb school day (and surprised myself how well I did)
but while they would let the Wedge on the schoolday - it is FAR TOO Loud for the events
and I can't justify the cost (to SWMBO) to get all the race gear and exhaust alts to race.

Have a good birthday Graham

Come across to our Show N Shine this Sunday and I will buy you a beer drink

Cheers
Rich

Morning Richard. smile
I feel soooooo old today....can't believe I'm 38 already. frown

Yes, these stupid noise regs spoil all our fun, but if the council wants to put on a 150db firework display at midnight,or they're digging up the road with a jackhammer outside your house at 8 in the morning...that's ok. irked

I was hoping to go to York drags this weekend if weather is ok....but thanks for the offer. Maybe I'll pop over anyway.

hello ph , my first post.
oh dear i don't want to own up to buying this 400se of ebay after reading some of the best wishes for my new purchase. ha ha.
But i've fixed the oil leak ,used the carpet supplied and added 600miles to the clock currently with out any problems that i don't know of.
The car has only done 2000 miles in the last 9 years and had a small fortune spent on it in that time, 800 quid the month i bought it.
Anyway enough of me gassing one of the reasons i write firstly as a intro but also to ask if anybody is interested in replacing their 400se dash with a new veneer (all 3 parts).
The colour would be the same walnut bur but new ,cnc machined to match my current dash (which should be the same as most of the 400se)and fully finish ready to stick on.
All i have to do is get approx 9 interested people in buying for £50 each plus postage

Bargin! You won't go wrong with this even if you have to spend 3 grand on doing things to it.

I like the q&a on the item:

Q: Is the log book complete..?? i.e. is ALL of the information complete in ALL of the sections of the V5, in particular: V.7 CO2 (g/km) U Sound...more

Haa haa - C02 kg/m more like!!!! What a tw*t!

Well done Hotty,

A cracking purchase that, had I been in a position to buy when that was for sale I would also have jumped at it.....

However I have managed now to get my hands on a very good Chim for silly money!

Still like the wedge SE's though!

Good luck with it.
