Ok - I know this has been done before but what's the consensus for the best colour. I'm planning a respray over the winter and need some inspiration...

I got my car in 1989 and really wanted a yellow one. I wonder if yellow is too 'fashionable' a colour over a 'classic' choice of colour. When I bought my car it was either an ivory or a blue car - I chose the blue!

Doesn't really answer your question however I would go for yellow! Why not submit a voting post?

Red Red Red.

When i see a lot of wedges together, it seems as though the red ones always stand out.

They seem clean up better than any other colour.

Still have the pic of my yellow 400 in my profile if you want a look. I think it really suited the car.

I think you're right - Red appears to the colour. I must admit this was my initial choice. At moment I have BMW Pepper White which I sprayed 2 years ago.

I'll go with RED. smile

My first 2 Wedges were red, and one of the reasons I sold my last car was simply because I could never get to like the colour...daft as it sounds.

I always wanted black but I am very happy with how my blue one looks, I am not a fan of them in red to be honest.

Here is mine.

My vote is with YELLOW
Even tho my Wedge is Mica Blue I want to respray it yellow but the interior wouldn't go

Carobs Silver Wedge gets my second choice

I would have to say 'RED' with grey with red edged interior as my FHC and my S are this colour combo and it looks not to bad! in my opinion !

Your FHC is probably the best red wedge i have seen it is really fantastic.

You and your daughter really had it looking tip top at the wedgefest.

BRG (biased of course), but the right colour if driving English cars on the continent...
Seems that silver and gun metal grey work well as well. Not my favourites and red is neither. Black shows the quality of the body panels and would not be my choice on a wegde therefore.
