There's the JPSC forum - www.jpsc-online.co.uk and the email Sylva group - http://groups.google.co.uk/group/Sylva-Chat . Both deal with the Striker and the various other cars that Jeremy Phillips originally designed.

There are a few build diaries about too (although mine seems to be broken at the moment, I should really get round to fixing it).

Or just ask away on here, I'm sure there are a few Striker owners besides me on here too.

The Jeremy Phillips Sportscar Club deals with all Sylva-originated cars.

There is a Sylva discussion group on Yahoo! and/or Smartgroups too, I think, but I can;t give you a link as they're blocked on our office server. frown

They're the same 2 places I linked to winkwww.jpsc-online.co.uk just takes you straight to the forum and the Smartgroups mailing list migrated to Google a couple of years ago.

Kewl, cheers guys! Applied for the group and will register on the forum tonight. I do plan to post on here to.

Got some issues to resolve and some pics to take and sort biggrin.

Issue one is collecting the car from our storage frown, given I have a crappy post 97 licence!

If you're careful with the selection of tow car and trailer you can tow a Striker (or other Seven) on a post 97 driving licence.

I use a Subaru Legacy (unladen weight 1470kg, MGW something over 2000kg) and a PRG trailer plated to have a MGW of 1250kg. The rules for towing a braked trailer on licences like ours are that that MGW of the trailer must not exceed the unladen weight of the tow car and that the MGW of the tow car and trailer combined must not exceed 3500kg smile

If you'll be hiring a trailer it might be tricky to find a light enough one though.

Yeah, have looked into it a fair bit biggrin. Best option is to buy my friends e34 m5 touring 1500kg and use a 1250 max trailer as you say.

But I have a T4 lwb van, a Fiesta TDCI and the Striker smile. So thinking I need to take my trailer test as it would be a fair chunck cheaper than buying another car and trailer. I could also borrow a friends 2000kg MAM trailer then as I only plan to use it for 6 track days a year max.

I have heard that I can actually pull it legally with my T4 if I stick L-plates on and my Dad comes along for the ride. So this may be an option £600 for a course to pass and the possibility of failing a harder driving test and having to cough up another days holiday and test fee don't appeal!
