eBay - running like crap recently or is just me?

I gave up trying to use it with Explorer. Works a little bit better with FFox but still snaggy, keeps trying to impose 'gallery style' listing on me. Definitely not running as it used to.

Generally runs OK for me, though the new layout doesn't present information as clearly as the old one IMHO. However the new 'click to enlarge' picture thing rarely works - I usually just end up with a blank window

Absolute nightmare for me running on a slow internet connection, in fact it's made the bay just about unusable.

I think its the beta stuff.

I wish they would leave it the fk alone and ASK you if you would like to participate in teh beta, rather than forcing buggy, slow innacurate code on poor users. It's hard enough get ripped off with software that works without those bunch of interfering code munkees making things worse

I've been dispatching about 50 parcels a day for the last two weeks (covering parents shop whilst they were on holiday) and haven't had any problems.

Its now a snaggly dinosaur that runs incredibly slowly and seems to be harking back to the days of dial-up.

I thought it was just me, I hate the new layouts, i hate the new listing "best match default" i hate the My ebay view and i hate how it takes an age to do anything, seriously ebay geeks, sort your st out and put it back like it was. If i search for something i WANT THAT THING, not "stuff i might like" or a million ads for blue led washer jets or neon tipped ariel wonks.

The ONLY thing i like is the countdown timer for the last few minutes of an auction, even then I have normally put my max bid in and am sat there thinking about wether the damn thing is going to update in time or if i am going to have to refresh AGAIN and meanwhile the timer is tick-tick-ticking away like a fking metronome teasing me with its relentless march onwards for anyone BUT ME.

So glad others are having trouble and its not me alone in the wilderness of slow slowetyness.

Went through a phase with me about 6 months ago where everything was much too slow, indeed for a week or two it was pointless trying anything ... then it just cleared up. Admit it is slower than it used to be though.
If frustrated with the 'best match' idea don't forget you can save your favourite searches if you want to, and change the order to 'closest first', 'cheapest first', 'most recent first', etc.
