hi all

what sort of prices are second hand europa's going for privately ?
s lux leather and se spec 06 , 07 , 08

theres not many "any" at the moment other than dealers and there prices vary so much

as you say with not many on the market it is very difficult to come up with a price.

Difficult to call, it depends how many others are on the market. If there is no others available you can sell for top money if someone really wants one.

I bought mine just at the right time earlier in the year as there were two other identical cars available privately, the car market was very shakey and all three were struggling to sell that month. I did however have to sell my Porsche very cheap the week before as that month prices were seemingly in freefall and everyone wondered if the market would ever settle out let alone recover. I think I gained back on the Lotus purchase what I lost on the Porsche that week to get it sold.

My car had more than twice the miles on being a press car so was even harder for the seller to move over the other two. I got what would now be classed as a good deal now the market is a little more stable. I would say prices today start at £20k for any Europa as I have never seen more than one available privately since I bought mine, whereas six months ago you could buy a perfect 225bhp S with the luxury spec and just a few thousand miles on it for under that with haggling as I did purely because of the panic in the market and the fact there was three quality cars to choose from and buyers very rare.
