Franking Machines

Can you track the owner of a franking machine via the Post Office? Will they give you this information - trhere appears to be a number - unique?? - on the franking label.

I received a parcel yesterday, in a jiffy bag, hand written but (almost) correctly addressed to me, containing 3 small metal powder-coated brackets, and I have not got the first idea what they are, who sent them, or why!

They're about 2" long - doubt they'd even support Latex Lucy, let alone a human.

Yes Royal Mail should be able to track the sender from the number on the franking label and they are unlikely to give you the info.

Return the package to the local delivery office, explain the situation, and they should take it off you for return to sender.

The code under the price is the franking machine ID, don't know if they'll give you the address though
