David Vizard visit
Discussion
For those that grew up with home brewing engines and tuning in general I'm sure the name David Vizard ticks all the right boxes as someone you'd have on your top 10 list of people you'd invite to a dinner party.
So you can imagine my surprise and delight when talking to my Cerbera tuner Paul at Austec that they have him coming over from America in the middle of October for a weekend of talks and presentations on his works
.
I'm not sure if its by invitation or by request but as a more than happy customer I'll be there
. Though I'd share it with you all as it's not everyday you get to see one of your hero's.

He hasn't mentioned anything to me but I'll give him a bell and ask him what the SP is. It's been a while since he was last here and we could go out for a chat and a chinese meal.
If you know him well then you may also know David Martin who is the resident engine builder at Austec too, perhaps you could make it a three some. I met Dave Martin briefly just the once the because that's with whom DV and his daughter were staying on his trip over here last time we met up. They've been mates for a long time. DM was just on his way out to a quick draw competition at a western theme night so it was only for a few minutes but he did give me a demo of his draw speed before he left if that sort of thing floats your boat.
