Ever since the 72k mile service, the car's been feeling a bit odd at certain speeds (65-70mph, for instance) and I think the geometry could be off.

The car (996 C4) had new brake discs/pads all round and some work was done to the front suspension/control arms.

Any recommendations for places around London or northern/western home counties?

Thanks!

Why not take it to your OPC? Did a good job on mine after the pot-hole-two-tyres-bust incident...

An OPC charges £120 for the standard 4 wheel alignement .a good independent are G force in Aylsbury who can dial out the stock 996 understeer( worked well on my C2) as well but seemed to cost a little more from memory.

Thanks for the responses guys! Will try to get a freebie alignment out of my OPC first (where the service and repairs were done in the first place).

They ballsed things up, so they should fix it, I suppose! (hope it IS only the geometry and not something else that they'll charge an arm and a leg for!).

If, so I'll bill Don - as it was his idea.
