New Wheels Question
Discussion
Question for all, which is preferable these:

Or these:

It seems it may be easier to get rubber for these sizes as well (18/19) although not any cheaper than for the 17's I currently have on my 97 B&W. If I was to go down this route are there any things I need to watch out for (ride height, speedo calibration etc?) Appreciate any input!

Top one, definitely!
You know you'll get differing opinions from all, don't you?
Yes but I'm torn and wondered what the consensus was.You know you'll get differing opinions from all, don't you?

i nearly bought a set of the top ones last week $1500 very cheep,
but i do think that the spoke is a little thin which looks a bit
crap, considering it a mussel car they need to be bigger, look more hot hatchy
the H ones look far to busy
handing out for a set of copperheads !!
You mean it lives in the ocean and goes well with frites then but i do think that the spoke is a little thin which looks a bit

I kind of like the H spokes, but wonder if they might not look a bit angular on such a flowing car. The 6 spokes are more fitting with the car itself but agree with Richard that they are a bit cut down, still I prefer them to the SRT 5 spokes (sorry Baz...). Obviously the brakes will need to be done as well which I always figured was a 'must do' for more power but after chatting to Nadine I've decided its just because I want to do them not because I need to.
make sure they come with tyres, i priced a full set of 19" pilots recently, JonB was the cheapest $1700 (just to buy and not including any shipping charges)
after a lot of searching ViperDave paid £380 for a 19" pilot rear over here, after his un-repairable puncture a few months ago
The SRT calipers were about $500 each at the beginning of '09 but have probably gone up now, the OE brembo pads are $250 per axle off Chuck with discount, the discs are pretty cheap at £120 each off Chrysler UK (through Baz) i know as i just brought these bits
you could get the rest of the brake upgrade kit off 'Daves Big Brakes' if their back up and running now, unfortunatley Dave passed away a couple of months ago from cancer but his son was trying to get the business back up and running
Where's those Aus pics ViperDave ?? !!! were waiting ....
