Hello,

I have a loverly new blade to fit, but I can not ge the old one off!!

I have removed the screw, pushed, pulled, proded and twisted; all too no joy.

What am I doing wrong please??

The end of the wiper arm normally rusts which causes the paint to swell and consequently locking the blade arm to the wiper arm.

Easy fix, get a flat edged piece of wood, pref in a wedge shape. Put the thin end against the butt of the cap at the end of the wiper arm and hit the other end with a hammer. Normally comes off in a couple of taps. Be carefull though as it can come of with some force and scratch the paint work.

Im glad you did change it Simon - it was going when i sold it to you

Also - you might try Rain X on the back and side windows - works quite well as I had applied it to the car
