Help, battery disconnect and alarm keeps going

I have read some other threads on this problem but can find no useful answers.

I need my battery to be disconnected for some time but as soon as your remove the leads the alarm pipes up. You cant switch it off and I don't want to be leaving a charger connected to the bat leads as has been previously suggested. Obviously the alarm must have an internal bat which keeps it going, so:

1) is there some way to shut it up with the car bat disconnected?
2) where is the location of the unit. Sounds like it's coming from around the rear somewhere?

When my alarm failed, Carl told me how to disconnect it then "it depends on how strong the backup battery is in the alrm, it could go for an hour, it could go for 12 hours..>"

It went for about 90 mins, I had to put the car in the garage and wrap sadi item with a towel to quieten it.
I'm surprised you can't follow the noise.

Carl said the very same thing to me when the car was at an exhibition - he didn't say anything about the alarm going off for 1-12 hours until after I'd done what he advised and asked how I stopped the alarm deafening the 000's of people in the hall -

Evening all,

I disconnected the battery during extraction of the bell housing (slave) and having reconnected it I can't seem to do anything with the fob/USB key, everytime I go into the cabin the alarm triggers.

I guess from the previous discussion here that there's a solution, can anyone help?

Pre-Le Mans panic, fun eh?

Hi mates, have the same problem and pre le mans panic too, I received new fob and new programing alarm unit from Carl but once retrim finish and everything re conected, engine won't start, nothing happend, just ignition!!!
I must leave tomorrow and don't know what to do! even cut this f*****g alarm!!!!
any advice please by PM if necessary
