In desperate need of a van

Hi guys.

I desperately need to pick up some work a client of ours has done from Rickmansworth and deliver to Sudbury in Suffolk by 11am tomorrow morning.

I spent most of the day trying to sort this out. Got to Rickmansworth about 20 minutes only to find that the car was nowhere near up to the job

I desperately need to get hold of a van tomorrow morning. Does anyone know where I can hire a van at short notice very early tomorrow morning?

If anyone has any thoughts or ideas either reply to this thread or get hold of me on my mobile.

Hi Kinky. I did try ringing but it didn't go through. I really appreciate the offer and it probably would fit at a push but I think it's far too heavy for a car

If you're near Twyford then the aptly named "Twyford Van Hire" have helped me out at short notice. They're on the Old Bath Road, as you come out of Twyford and towards Charvil.
Can't find a website for them but they're on Yell 0118 934 9898.

How did you get on Rob?

I got there in the end to be greeted by one happy customer!

I rushed down to the van hire at the top of my road and took their last van. I was on the road by about 9am so was a little late but better late then never eh?

Huge thanks to everyone who replied on here, I really appreciate it. I also found out that the weight of the package was around 250kg which is a fair weight to stick over the rear axle but thank you so much for offering the estate Kinky!

A special thanks to Dave (xllifts) who rang up literally just after I had picked the van up to let me know that I could borrow one of his.

Once again I'll be telling people about the kindness and generousity of those 'weirdos you meet on the internet'.
