Can't find a reg on HPI check

Hello

Any help appreciated

I've spotted a lovely car that I'm off to see tomorrow

Trying to run an HPI check on a number of sites and it's not coming up as listed

What to do?

Don't you mean wary?

most likely just come off a cherished number plate and the data base has not yet updated, HPI on the chassis number (VIN) for guaranteed accurate results

I saw the DVLA papers with the transition plate back to the original from the cherished plate

So I feel a bit more reassured

Go on money supermarket and try to get a quote for car insurance, on page 2 or 3 they ask you for the car details, tap the reg and see what come back.
Worth a try.
