Afetr a new watch and have about £1500 to spend probably not alot more, as the wife's buying it for my birthday.
What I like, Rolex Sub's and Pam's but both out of budget
waterproof
thats about it
but then there's the wife's requirements (well if she's paying) must be on a bracelet, preferably single dial face so no chrono's
New or second hand doesn't really matter, as this will be a keeper, when I can decide what to get.
So suggest away.

I don't like the heavy divers which makes it a bit easier for me so at risk of sounding like a stuck record I'd check out, Glycine, Ball and Sinn. All have a really good selection of non chronos in your price range.

Another vote for a Planet Ocean - very good for the money, especially used

If 20% discounts are floating around then you're only a couple of hundred sheets away from a new PO. However, second hand is also good and within the original budget.

Others? -- Oris, Longines and if you like Panerai then you could go down the Anonimo route (which would be my choice as the PO alternative). I suppose it depends on what you really want.
