Car won't start and MIL comes on

500 mile round trip just a week ago with no problems, now it wont start and the MIL plus bleep goes constant. Normal lights on the dash and the fuel pump engages but then the car only coughs and doesn't come to life..... thoughts?

My hot start issue vanished when Andy @ APM upgraded the starter.

The search function on here is pretty bad, but you can search the site via google - Pistonheads "hotstart problem" - or similar.

Oh, cannot recall if you get any power with this problem, but I was stranded for 10mins after a Polish car wash had moved the 'Master Key' - the one that should never be touched

I discovered last summer, that having sufficient battery power to open doors, get fuel pump to kick in etc. can still mean no starting enthusiasm.

In fact, even with jump leads to another car, it was less than interested.

In the end we ran the other car for 10 minutes or so hooked up to the Cerbera and then keeping some high revs, the Cerbera finally (slightly reluctantly still) fired up.

New battery, no problem .
