Went to Hulavington Airfield (MSE) on Friday for the first time and had good day, at £99 cheap too. Been to Abingdon and I thought the surface on Friday was better, the coning is a bit confusing in a couple of places though. They have a section on the other side of the airfield where they have a slalom section and a few other coned courses so a bit more to do than driving round the track part. Few short vids:

Hi

I was there in the Orange Atom. We were trying to work out what engine/mod your car had - sounded more like a jet turbine than a supercharger!

It was my 1st time there too, but I thought tarmac was better at Abingdon (though I haven't been there for over a year). Hullavington seemed a bit rough in parts for the Atom (particularly the 125mph+ braking zones on the straights). Like most airfields there were only a few fast corners - but the one off the 2nd back straight made up for it!

Hi Rich
My car's got a Courtenay Sport stage 2 supercharger conv, I've never heard it from the outside but, yes, people have said it sounds like a jet engine, inside it's just the typical supercharger whine. At Abingdon I found there were quite a few deep potholes. The long strip of grass/weeds in the braking zone at the end of the first straight always had me gripping the wheel a bit tighter on Fridayyikes
Had such a good day I've booked for next month already.
