Door Striker Catch - Which way does it fit please !!

I'm just re-assembling my doors and can't remember which way round the catch on the door fits. Can some kind person take a quick look and tell me which way round it fits. Does the bit that 'protrudes' point towards the outside of the door, or the inside?
