griff rear light lenses

I need a new nearside rear light, anyone know who may have these or an odd one kicking about they`d part with for reasonable cost??

will take a pair if needs be, I think mine are clear, but will take smoked if a pair available.

Barreti had a pair from me at the growl. I think he just needed the backs not the lenses so may have spare(s).

This is all quite amusing, I bought the pair now on my car from CliveF after my little contretemps in Le Mans last year.

you`re right mate, I remember thinking "oh thats okay I`ve a spare set in the garage" until my better half who has the knack of remembering absolutely everything reminded me that I sold them to you

anybody know what model (88-92 cavalier) the smoked lenses came from

There the GSI ones although i believe you can get the others tinted at a price...

Between me and Ian i think at the last count we had 4 different types 3 with different codes on and one with out a code on at all.

Interesting. Surprised to see different part numbers for the 3/5 door and four door chavs. Maybe that's why some need fettling to fit?

There are loads on ebay...

Just make sure you look under cavalier, NOT TVR.

1988 - early 92 cavalier

Just bought a 'NEW' pair off ebay for £32 including postage.

ie unused, oem in a box gathering dust at a dealer, parts supplier garage, having a clearout..
20 year old parts, won't be around forever, so make sense to get a spare set.

just search for cavalier rear light, or tail light, etc.

You'll spot the pictures of the correct ones.

Ever thought of changing them for alternatives? I had HHC change mine for some aftermarket Cavalier units and I think (IMHO) that they look the biz.
